Coldwell Cub

The following pictures are of another project engine of mine. This engine is a twin cylinder Coldwell Cub made in Newburgh, NY. They often were the engine equipped with Coldwell mowers in the 30's and 40's. I know relatively little about this engine and have been unsuccesful in my attempts to make it run. I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone who has any experience with these engines.

This Is a side view of the engine...

...And this a top view

This engine has compression, fuel and a good hot spark. It's problem is that it doesn't generate enough power to keep the engine running each time it fires. Any pointers or input on this engine would be greatly appreciated.
