We weren't actually the ones to restore this engine and neither was the man we bought it from. The story is, an area art teacher bought this engine and retired it from pumping oil wells. Since he was a teacher, he let some of his students do the restoration work of the engine. He then painted a very elaborate pinstriping scheme on the engine.
