Sundry's Antique Gas Engines

We think this is a Sherman Smith approximately 4hp gas engine made at Independence, Iowa.  However, it could be the first version of the Associated Farm Hand engine.  It has a lot of unique features such as having all the gearing inside the crankcase and a having reverse trip ignitor.
