John Deere

This is a 1952 John Deere R that had been sitting 20 odd years.
Cylinders were full of water. I had to replace the pistons and rings,
replace the valve seats, reface the valves and clean the injectors and
pumps to get this beast to run again.

This is a 1953 John Deere AO I restored except for the decals. Before I
could order them in, a fellow just had to have it, so I let him do the
finish work.

This is my 1953 John Deere 40S (standard) that works everyday. Ten
years ago it was a pretty new green. With weights on the front the 7
Ft. boom will lift over 750 + Lbs. There is only one tractor I
like better than my 40 and that is a JD 430 tricycle I had for about 2
1/2 months in 2005.
