This photo shows the treesaw adapter in use, felling a tree. The adapter kit consisted of parts that allowed the saw blade to be mounted horizontally. The loghook was lashed to the tree trunk, holding the saw in place during the sawing operation. When the engine was started and the clutch engaged, a ratchet gradually moved the blade away from the engine skid, moving it through the trunk of the tree.
