The head had a fairly large crack in it, unlike the cylinder I felt pretty comfortable brazing this one up myself.

A couple shots of the ignitor after being rebuilt. I had some brass hex stock lying around so I decided to use it to make the stationary electrode nuts. Luckily the main spring was still usable.

I made new stems from 5/15" drill rod, and threaded tem in to the old valve faces, then sweated them together

The valves both needed new stems.

This is what the head look like now, I still need to grind the valves but that's the easy part.

Cutting threads on the drill rod to screw into the old valve face.

Old valve face threaded on to new stem…..
