This set of whistle's belongs to my grandfather, these 2 whistles were used on his father's sawmill here on Vashon between 1904 and 1914. Originally the smaller whistle was on the first steam powered sawmill in Tacoma Wash. And the larger one was on the first steam powered ferry boat on Puget Sound.
