Lynn Tjeerdsma, who farms and collects old iron in South Dakota, owns this 1925, 3 1/2 HP Jaeger hit and miss engine (S/N 323014).
Lynn is currently working at USDA in Washington DC, and has helped to fashion the Farm Bill that was recently signed into law by the president. While appreciating the opportunity to help create better farm policy for our nation, Lynn misses his engine collection which he left behind in SD.
In Feb. of 1996, Lynn placed an "engine wanted" ad on the internet (http://www.servtech.com/public/cprucha). Dave Rotigel, who restored the Jaeger to the condition you see it here, responded to the ad and the rest is history. Lynn's Jaeger will soon be displayed in his office at USDA!
