Here Mel is shown with Trevor Staab and his teacher, Linda Helman in
front of the shingle mill. Each year the FAAFEA sets aside two days of our
Apple and Arts show to bring in children from local school districts in order
to educate them about how their ancestors farmed, worked and raised their
families.
