Freelance Inverted Engine

An inverted engine makes an interesting model to see running as all its workings are on show. The 'head' needs to be different for obvious reasons. This effort took about a month to make. All welded, etc. I had a set of wheels on hand that were cast by a friend. That saved me the time of machining a set. No plans. It grew from what I imagined lying awake in bed! Odd 'sketches' on scraps of paper is about my limit on making my own plans!! I am pleased with the end result. It runs very nicely and the water in the hopper stays just warm after running for hours.
