The picture above show the US style portable engine while the pictures below show a style sold here in Australia. The one pictured is in a museum and has a 4hp engine on it. I now have the original transport belonging to my 3hp engine which I will eventually rebuild.
Below are pics of Edd Payne's 3hp engine. It is a stationary engine (with a cast sub base) while my engine is a portable.
