Below is a listing of all the engines on the Austral register as of April 2009. This is just a very basic view of the register with the test month, history, owner & other details removed. I hope to be able to make a printout of the full register later in the year but this will not be published on the web but will be able to be ordered and posted or possibly emailed as a pdf (owners names will not be published here on the net and will only be in the final printouts with permission). Many of you have the printout that Peter J Willcock made of the register and this is based on his excellent work and being expanded upon all the time.

I am also attempting to add pictures of as many Australs as possible to the register. If you can email me a picture of your engine I will gratefully add it to the file.

I am publishing this cutdown version so that people can see if their engine is on the register. If you do not see your engine listed please feel free to contact me as I always appreciate more engines to fill in the history of the Austral engines. I can also often provide you with some more information on your engine.

Some notes on this view of the register. Some of the years attributed to very early and very late engines are only an educated guess. Some of the numbers are engines that were rebuilt and renumbered and some of the numbers are only parts engines (sometimes only a nameplate or crank). As you can see there are gaps in some of the information and I know that some of the details may be incorrect. Any corrections or further details would be greatly appreciated.
