Colored Angora Goats Breeding angora goats for color is a newer venture in goat keeping. For centuries, goats with colored fleeces were culled, as white was desirable for dyeing. Handspinners like to use the naturally colored fleeces to make beautiful yarns. They are a medium sized goat with docile, friendly personalities. We have a small flock of colored angoras. We have two gorgeous red bucks to add some red to the flock. I am a member of Spinners Flock, a fiber and spinning organization in Michigan. We show our angoras at Michigan Fiber Festival in August each year.
