I'm Blackie, a 3 yr old angora doe born and raised here at MacGregor Hollow. I'll keep you updated on things that are happening here on the farm.

Our 2007 show season is now over, and what a season it was this year. We went to 3 shows: Michigan Fiber Festival, Washtenaw County 4H, and the Chelsea Community Fair.

At Michigan Fiber Festival, my daughter, Sinead first won her colored yearling doe class and then went on to win Grand Champion Colored Doe. Maisie also did well winning her white yearling doe class and then won Grand Champion White Doe. Nemai helped Hayden win the youth showmanship class. I took second place in the Colored aged doe class (I don't feel aged though.) Maureen took second place in the yearling doe class behind Sinead.

Maisie won Champion Angora and Grand Champion Goat at the Chelsea Fair

Kalindi and Nemai got second place in senior Showmanship at Chelsea Fair

Nick won Champion Pet Wether and Champion "Other" Goat at Chelsea Fair
