OLE MILL CRANKUP (page two)

This little 1 1/2 HP Frost King was displayed by Bob Perkins of Lexington, NC.
Bill Burch of Chapel Hill, NC is shown here with his 20 inch Lawson grist mill, powered by a JD power unit.

Above are two images of a mill used to turn handles with. It is a real neat duplicating lathe that uses a spinning circular blade to remove the stock. It is owned by Dwayne Parsons of West End, NC. His two sons and a friend were keeping the mill running, allowing Dwayne to answer questions by onlookers.
The outfit on the left is a woodsplitter that would give our friends at OSHA, fits.

The two tractors above are the result of many hours spent by Bobby West of Turkey, NC. The John Deere is as nice a scale model as you will find, and the restoration of the Wheelhorse looks better than new.
Here is a general overview of the tractor area. A good mixture of green red and orange, with a little gray.
Here is a lineup of vehicles from the contingent from Turkey, NC. You can tell these folks know how to have a good time:-)
