

Dean D. McGraw, 82, of Coatesville, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2010 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Dorcas Raugh McGraw, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage.
Born in North Woodbury, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Kathryn Detwiler McGraw.
Dean was a 1945 graduated of Morrisons Cove High School in Martinsburg.
Before his retirement in 2004, he owned McGraw Construction, installing utility lines for builders.
Dean loved sports, especially baseball. He played in the county baseball league until he was 47, pitching for Caln AA in the Coatesville League and for Rubinsteins in the West Chester League.
In addition to his wife, Mr. McGraw is survived by his children, Cathy Murphy and her husband, Patrick, of Honey Brook, Edwin McGraw and his wife, Myra, of Yorba Linda, CA and Beth McGraw of North Wales; brother, Bernard McGraw of Martinsburg; sisters, Mildred Bowser of Hopewell, Leona Ruggles of Roaring Spring and Eunice McGraw of Martinsburg; ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2010 from 4-8 PM at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown. Another visitation will be held on Friday, January 29, 2010 from 12 Noon - 2PM at the John C. Bolger Funeral Home, 111 E Allegheny St., Martinsburg. A graveside service will take place at 3 PM at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.

John Steven Miller, Jr.
Mr. John Steven Miller, Jr., age 25, of West Jefferson passed away on
Thursday, January 24, 2008 in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 28, 2008 at 2pm at Boone
Family Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Kenneth Clark officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12-2pm on Monday, two hours prior to the
memorial service.
Mr. Miller was born in Lancaster, PA on Tuesday, November 2, 1982 to John Steven
Miller and Barbara Alice Barker Miller. He worked was a Supervisor for a
Christmas Tree Grower.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Clark-Miller, of the home; a daughter,
Haleiwa Miller, of the home; his parents, John & Barbara Miller, of West
Jefferson; a brother, James Miller, of West Jefferson; a sister, Jennifer
Murphy, of West Jefferson; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Barker, of Crumpler;
his paternal grandparents, James & Hazel Miller, of West Jefferson; two nephews,
Dustin Clark and Cory Clark; three nieces, Lindsay Holman, Devin Holman and
Alexis Murphy; a great-nephew, Gabriel Clark; his father and mother-in-law,
Arvil and Margaret Clark, of Laurel Bloomery, TN also survived.

Mr. Lewis is survived by: his wife: Wanda Lewis, two sons: David Lewis of Taylorsville, NC & Danny Lewis of Stony Point, NC, two brothers: Robert Lewis of Lansing, NC & Denver Lewis of Lansing, NC, one sister: Lola Church of High Point, grandson: Dyson Lewis, also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Willard C. Adams

Willard C. Adams, 60, of East Fallowfield, passed
away on Sunday, April 16, 2006 while at work at Rough and Tumble in Kinzers. He
was the companion of Barbara Bireley of Gap. Born in West Grove, Pa., he was the
son of the late John and Pauline Gray Adams. Upon graduating from high school,
he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Willard was employed by the
West Marlborough Township as Road Supervisor and was formerly employed by the
King Ranch.
Willard was an active member of the Rough and Tumble
Historical Engineers Association of Kinzers where he served as curator. He is
survived, in addition to his companion, by one son David M. Adams of East
Fallowfield.
