Around 1960, Root added chain saws to their product line. My Lumberjack was purchased as an eBay auction and came from Angola, Indiana. The saw is complete and in pretty good original shape. Some of the Root Lumberjacks are highly sought as they have an engine that is used in Super Saw competitions. These saws usually sell for several hundred dollars. Below are pictures of my Lumberjack chain saw. |
