Many MAPA members have clever and ingenius flairs, and this is of course, a good example. All of these articles were made by MAPA members. This steam engine made by a talented MAPA member runs off of a pressure cooker that is heated by a propane stove!

Also by this same MAPA member is this steam launch, which was built by hand, in a garage. It is a compliment to the same members larger steam boat, the S.S. Kettle Cove.

Speaking of this MAPA member, there he is, proudly sitting at the engineer's post of his steam launch.

Skip Woodworth, long time MAPA member and machinist, proudly displays these elegant models at shows. This is a scale model of a International Harvester Corporation 10 hp engine, built entirely by Mr. Woodworth. That's him in the background, along with his lovely wife June.

Belted to that lovely IHC, is this scale model of a hay-press, which really works.

One of Mr. Woodworth's first models, a IHC Tom Thumb, which I am told is in the shop getting a butter-churn pulley installed.
