This is a NOVO 6 hp TYPE "S" engine.

Serial Number 5559.

We found this cruising back roads one day. The owner

has a junk store and had this sitting out front with some tractors

For Sale. It took a couple days of stopping by to catch him

there. When we did catch him there we worked out a deal.

I didn't care much for the contraption it was on so we

took the torches to it and removed the engine.

You can see, in the picture above, how he had it belted up to run.

There was a transmission out of a Fiat in the back of this thing.

The picture below shows everything stripped off of the frame.

We wanted to make it a little bit lighter for rolling it into the

garage. I think we took off 25 pound of just nuts and bolts!

Here the engine is supported by the blocks. There is clearance

between the blocks and the frame and the engine. I took the

torches and cut off the front end and then rolled the frame

out from under the engine. The engine was sitting on the cement blocks,

shown below, waiting to be put on the trailer.

The picture above shows my Dad on the far right and me just above the

right flywheel. In these pictures we're loading it onto our 16 foot

tandem axle trailer. The lift was rented.
