THE WEBMASTER
Just in case you're wondering about what kind of eccentric would devote way too much of his time, $$$ and effort into making such a website, here's a little peek into my world.
I first became interested in F&J engines sometime in the late 80's. A friend of mine had a couple, I thought they looked real neat. I was disappointed when an internet search for these engines came up with nothing. I had always wanted to make a website about my engine collection, why not take the opportunity to make an entire site just on Fuller & Johnson engines? So the work began, and has continued, and will continue. This site's sole aim is to help the Fuller & Johnson owner with their engines. I will never sell trinkets here or charge for information. I do all of it on my own time and my own dime to present as much accurate information on the company and the engines they built.
As for me, I'll be 31 (!) in March 2012. I've been collecting old engines and tractors for 25 yrs now! I'm an alumni of Tri-County Regional Voc Tech class of 99 and majored in machine shop. I also attended the Community College of RI in Warwick with a major in Manufacturing Technology. I now work in the model shop of an engineering company as both a mechanical engineer and machinist. At home I own a heavy 10in South Bend lathe that was given to me as a birthday present. In 1998 I purchased a 7in South Bend shaper for gear repairs and making keyways plus other odd jobs. In 1999 I got an old (50's vintage) Delta drill press which has proved most useful. In 2000 I finally found a Bridgeport milling machine to add to my shop along with a Hendy 16 x 42 lathe. Also added a surface grinder and 16" South Bend lathe to my shop as well. When not working on an engine I can be found at my model table. I build scale models of mostly WWII Italian and German single seat day fighters. Through both of these great hobbies I have made many friends around the world. Enough of my rambling nonsense, thanks for visiting my website on Fuller & Johnson engines; Hope you enjoyed it and maybe even learned something. :)
Cheers!
