| Below are some pictures of various types of
stakes used for temporary safety fencing at antique engine shows and similar
events. Of particular interest is the variety of methods used to
fasten the rope to the stake.
These pictures were taken at the Tulare, California engine show in April of 2005. The first picture shows Rob Skinner's cart for transporting a bunch of stakes with my brother Ken showing how Rob's "Fence Stake Pounder Inner" is used to set the stakes. |
