The pictures below are of a marine engine that has been in storage for many years. My brother has finally decided that it needs to be brought into a running condition once again. Based on a couple of small pictures he found on the net we believe that it might be a "Midland" engine but would like to verify that information. Also any information regarding original color, ignition timing hardware, whether or not it had a water pump, etc. would be greatly appreciated. There is no engine tag or even casting numbers so we know nothing regarding horse power, suggested running speed, etc. It is a two stroke cycle engine but we don't know the suggested gasoline/oil ratio either.
