On the morning of August 10, 2002 we packed up at 6:00 AM and headed west to Portland. After arriving in Portland at 6:45, Indiana time, we started staking off the camp ground. At the time of this adventure we had 22 campers committed to coming to the show sow we felt a fair amount of ground would be needed.
We had just about finished staking off the ground when Bill P. showed up and agreed on the amount of land set aside. Bill was now in Portland to stay as we drove home to get ready to head back in a few days.
