Here are some pictures of the show in Orwell Ohio on June 7, 8, 2002. We had a good time with GREAT weather. A few goodies did follow me home, but no engins
Here is a fine running Associated that was just across from where
we were sitting
This is a hot tube Bovaird & Seyfang along with a good running
model "M" International.
We did not get to see the Fuller & Johnnson field pumper run,
but it did show signs that it has and would do so. It had all the back
gears also.
Other than a model side shaft, and Ed's, this was the only other side shaft
at the show. It is a 4 hp Bullseye, and yes the paint looked wet
and the owner did run her. Below is full shot as this was an impressive
looking
engin.
This is a Columbus and yes even though the side shaft is not moving
it is running. Ed Deis owns both these fine engins and below you
will also see the Foos running
On this load there where many different engins to look at. including
a nice 5 spoke Ingeco.
Here you see a load of Associated engins, the 6 mule team
was very good with no breaks or welds. The 3 mule was also impressive,
but the best might have been the little rusted off hopper 11/2 model, it
was complete and with a little TLC would have run.
As I spent both days drooling over the engins that had shown
up and the prices it was hard to have taken a picture of each and every
engin.
It was safe to say many of the Galloway engins are still
alive.
This picture might not do justice to the fine engins in the row,
but all three where very solid and complete. A Galloway, Hercules,
and a Fairbanks & Morse.
We did see a 100.00, Sattley, open crank flywheel engin and it was complete minus a piston. The engin prices where very reasonable and yes some did change hands. On another note only seen one tractor, one tractor engin and one set of tractor tires, this was more of a gas start up and was good fun with beautiful weather.
