AS I RECEIVED IT

The Crossley "J " as I received it in 1997, it had been converted to petrol operation by using a magneto and carburettor, side shaft governor mount can be seen in the pictures below. It is thought that the conversion was carried out by the Australian Agent before the engine was originally sold.

All gas components had been removed and carburettor installed.

Head had major frost cracking.

For some reason flywheel had been put on with spokes turning the wrong way.
