Magnet Charger

One of my last engine restorations required a complete rebuild of its Webster oscillating magneto. That included a magnet recharge. Since this was not the first time I had run into a situation where I needed to recharge a magnet, I decided to build a magnet charger. I ordered a copy of Dave Gingery's plans off Harry's website and built the magnet charger shown here.

I did a lot of research before deciding on Gingery's design. Though it is not as massive as some that came recommended, the parts for it were readily available and I figured it would do the job I needed it to do. So far I haven't been disappointed.
