The Southern Forest Heirtage Museum held its Machine Shop Day on Saturday, October 30, 2004. There were antique machine shop demonstations, historic sawmill tours, and motor car rides. All of the buildings on the ground were open for touring. In association with that, the Louisiana Two Cylinder Club displayed antique engines and tractors and held a tractor pull. It was a beautiful day and a large number of people turned out for the show.
