Knight Broadcaster

This Knight Broadcaster was made back in the late 50's and early 60's by Allied Radio. It was only available in kit form. It allowed you to attach a microphone and/or turntable and broadcast voice and music to nearby broadcast band radios. I built one of these when I was 14 years old. It was the first of many Knight Kits that I built over the years. It is the one I remember best. I had my own little radio station set up in my house and occasionally broadcast to the neighborhood.

I have been looking for one of these little broadcasters off and on for the last couple of years. I bid on several that were on eBay. When this one came up for auction I decided that I wanted it and bid to win. This little broadcaster will assume a prominent place among my other childhood memorabilia.
