Let me say just a little about Mr. Nicholas Bettevy. I guess more than
any other person, Nick was most responsible for my getting into collecting antique engines. I got my first engine from him. You can read about it
here. Over the years Nick helped me on many occasions in my quest for old iron. A couple years after that when I was looking for another engine, Nick led me not only to an engine, but to my John Deere tractor also. Some time after that when I was looking for a stone burr grist mill, I let Nick know. It wasn't long after that when he called and said he had one for me. You can read about the mill here.
