Stationary Engines at Sandstone Cosmos & Steam Weekend
9th & 10th April 2005

This was not strictly an engine show, the emphasis being more on steam and the beautiful fields of Cosmos flowers but a few engines were on display. The engines shown on this page belong to private exhibitors who were invited to show their engines at this event. Sandstone Heritage Trust's collection of stationary engines was also on display but are not included here. They may be viewed on their website Sandstone Heritage Trust.

Exhibitors were:
Neville Botha (Petter Appletop), Thys Jonker (Petter Appletop), Justin Ludewig (Massey Harris/Cushman Cub), Des Nel (Massey Harris/Cushman Cub and Villiers Genset), Gerrie de Jong (Cushman Binder engine and International Harvester LB), Koos Kriel (Lister D and Wolseley WD9), George and Koos Botha (Lister M), Sagrys Celliers (Amanco Hired Man, Southern Cross diesel and Feed Grinder), Jerry Evans (Bernard W112 and Wolseley WD9)
