Sometimes, you come across some great things by accident. In May 2008, Jim and I were on our way to Nuenen, Holland, for the world renowned engine show. However, we had a couple of days to ourselves first, and while escaping a motorway traffic jam on the way to the coast, we spotted an interesting looking building. Stopped by traffic lights, I noticed that the cast iron "arms" protruding from the building were moving! Quickly, we turned off and found ourselves at a fascinating steam pumping museum called Cruquius.
