Rule No 1 for rallies - set up as close as possible to the beer tent - hopefully close enough that the return trip to the engines while carrying three brimming pints of English Ale incurs no spillages. As demonstrated here by Arnie Fero.
Rule No 2 - sit and enjoy freshly delivered pint while engines run pleasantly all around.
As can be seen from the 3rd picture, Arnie has been here before, under the guise of an English gentleman. Obviously upset someone though looking at that eye ... yep, must be the same person!

First off here we have an engine labelled as "The One and Only Hot Tube Suffolk Colt" - created by Jim French. (For more details, see here) It attracted almost as much attention as the Tillinghast, and I suspect that a few people will be making wierd and wonderful creations from old lawn mower engines when they get back in the shed!
Next we have a half scale Fairbanks Morse Eclipse. That logo on the base looks very familiar ... Great to see
Reg Ingold's superb work on display in the UK.
Last one is a very nice scale model of a Bamford Tulip top.

Because of Jim having his "Unknown" engine on display, we were paying particular interest to all similar small engines, in the hope of spotting some common factor to help with identification.

This Whitehead engine particularly attracted Jim and Arnie's attention. I see a workshop project in the offing ....
