The smallest of the Ward range, the Model 0 was supplied for driving directly off overhead line shafting, and had some controls placed underneath and operated by pedals to save operator time. Although a small machine, it had most of the features of the larger units, and was capable of fast work in the right hands.
The centre height was 4 inches, and a 1/2" capacity through the headstock and bar feed. Bearings were ball and roller for the headstock, and the toolpost was a simpler version than the larger machines.
