Another Scrapyard Walk

The Metropolitan-Vickers AC-DC generating set. The right-hand dynamo is 2.2kW @ 220V DC and acts as an
exciter for the centre dynamo. The motor in the ground behind is the one that uses this unit's power for its field
excitation. We think that it all came from an overhead crane with an electromagnet lifting device.
