Cornelis Kloos Patent No 6152 of 1911

Describes means for facilitating the removal of the piston from the power cylinder of a single-acting motor or engine.

For this purpose the invention provides for constructing the latter with a forward or lower part and a rear or upper part in a readily detachable manner, so that, when the crank is on or near its lower or forward dead centre , the piston can be taken out of the cylinder after detaching the forward or lower part of the cylinder.
