This invention comprises a method of controlling internal slow-combustion engines in which the fuel is injected from a nozzle into the combustion chamber.

For this purpose the organ for throttling the pressure of the injecting air in the inlet cross-section in the combustion chamber is positively connected with, and adjusted simultaneously with, the controlling organ for the liquid fuel.
