Diesel Engine Patents

Hans Theodor Bruns Patent No 28052 of 1909

This invention claims to provide improved gear for starting and reversing for use in connection with engines in which for reversing purposes an adjustment of the distribution valve has to be made.

The device consists essentially of a lever carrying means, such as a cam, for actuating the fuel supply, which lever can be coupled to another lever for controlling the compressed-air valves for both directions of running, the construction being such that the coupling of the two levers can be effected at any point within the range of the lever carrying the cam.
