Describes a fuel nozzle for spraying fuel into an engine cylinder by means of compressed air, a thorough mixing being obtained by making
the passage for the mixed fuel and air curved, angular, or of varying cross-section, so that the mixture is forced to change its direction towards
the centre of the nozzle, or the passages may terminate in a chamber, the walls of which are curved towards the centre.
