Pima Air & Space Museum - Menu Page 15

We had a short break in Phoenix to see our friends Tim & Sally who had moved there from San Francisco. While there we had a fascinating visit to the Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson. We have included other shots from the trip, such as Roosevelt Dam, to keep them all together and in the correct order of taking. After the dam we went to the Goldfield Ghost Town, on the way back to Phoenix.

The drive to Tucson took about 2 hours, we got there at 08.30 and were able to get around the outside displays before the temperature got too high. We saw 93 deg F on the car external temp gauge later in the day. We also took the AMARC "Desert Boneyard" tour at Davis-Monthan Air Base.
