I was born in 1941 in Warrington in the North West of England (20 miles East of Liverpool), where I still live. After attending the Boteler Grammar School I started work as an apprentice with the Post office Telephones and took early retirement after 38 years with British Telecom in 1995.
I am happily married to Marjorie with one adult daughter.
My interests are wide ranging including Family History, Cycle Touring, collecting Old Oil & Gas Engines and collecting old Bicycles .
