About us:
My name is Joseph L. Betz. Born - August, 1944 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Upon my entrance into this world, one of the nurses said I was a "Pipsqueek" and the nickname "Pippy" or "Pip" was created. My wife of 30 years and, three years younger than I, came from McKees Rocks, PA. We met at a night club named "Train 'n Pipe" in McKees Rocks. My immediate family consists of wife Sylvia, daughter Amy Jo, son Joe Jr., stepdaughter Sylvia, stepson Rob and the family dog, an Australian Mix named Bre. All kids have moved out of the house now. We live in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, approximately 10 miles from downtown, in a Ryan Plan of homes.
