Roast Beef in Wine and Honey |
INGREDIENTS 3lb beef joint ~ 3 cloves garlic, crushed ~ 1/4 pint red wine ~ 3 tbsp honey ~ salt and pepper ~ 3 sprigs rosemary METHOD 1) Mix together wine, garlic, honey, seasoning and rosemary. 2) Pour over beef and leave, covered, in refrigerator overnight. 3) Roast beef as required - for Dolly-style, at least 20 minutes per pound, plus 20 minutes. For Arnie-style, open oven door, hold joint no less than 6 inches from heat source for at least 30 seconds, and serve. |
