Here's an experimental hot tube i'm currently working on. The burner tube and chimney are visible here. The chimney is 8 1/2" long. I started with a 5" tube, firing too late, put in a 6", still too late, now at 6 1/2" but it needs to be longer yet. The tubes are 1/8" pipe. Here's a short video clip of the engine running with the hot tube ignition. If you listen closely you can hear the burner in the hot tube. FB Engine Running With Hot Tube (575KB)
