Thanks for checking out my engines pages. I ended up creating this site because there just got to be too much on my main website, and really I did need a seperate site dedicated just for my engines. I have lots of pics and there will probably be more to come. Old engines and steam engines are one of my favorite hobbies. The traction engine below is aprox. 1/4 scale (not exact) and was built from scratch by my father and I which took about 1 year to complete and was finished in the fall of 2003 except for a few details, such as the water tanks behind the wheels. The latest pics show these, and also there are 2 injectors on the engine. I'm currently getting ready to make some new larger wheels that are spoked wheels, and I need to do a little more work on the drive gears.

The most common question I get is "How do you know what all those valves do?"
